Small Ballers partners with local schools for our classes, and the presence of janitorial staff is a requirement mandated by school boards.
In our commitment to providing the best experience for your children, there may be times when the school board cannot provide the necessary staff. Rest assured, we’ll make every effort to secure an alternative location with minimal disruption.
Class locations will be confirmed and locked in one week before each session. It will either be the original school or a nearby one, ensuring convenience for all families.

Where do the classes take place?
We are inside and outside! We want to be outside as often as possible during warmer months and in the cooler winter months we have the gyms!
Our program and system is designed to capitalize on good weather outside with incredible amenities inside. This allows for more ball sport diversity and additional sports. (We might try badminton this coming Winter Session).
Is Small Ballers open all year?
Yes we are. We have 5 Sessions and create curriculum and lesson planning around those Sessions. As in the previous question, seasons and weather play a factor, however, only in where we perform the classes. The fun never stops!
Does Small Ballers have an infant program?
Yes! Our center offers a program named Mini Ballers. Designed for walking children ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years of age. These are big years. We’ve designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to ready-for-exercise; to the full support of experienced instructors. Just as important, our program is based on what research says best prepares children for sports, the social side of it and participation with a strong base of inclusion as the mini’s develop to the next levels.
What is Small Ballers' process on checking the background of their employees?
Small Ballers conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists of a national criminal record check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. In addition to the country criminal search, a sex offender search, OFAC search and a social security verification trace are also conducted. For all location employees, program licensing background checks required by the province are also performed.
What is your policy regarding pictures/videos of my child(ren)?
The decision to allow for a child’s picture to be taken at a SB is at the discretion of the family. Some allow pictures to be used both internally and externally (i.e. for our website), and still others do not allow pictures of their children to be taken at any time – no exceptions. In any case, we will respect your rights and your decision. This is part of your application form and you either grant permission based on the aforementioned or not.
